"no problems but the manager was really kind friendly and apologetic but the room and the condition of the room and the hotel was not what one would expect for a hotel in a place like Switzerland let alone VEVey. it is tired, it needs painting and an overhaul and the room that I got was tiny, almost no light , dark. dingy and unappealing. "A good 2-star hotel that was pretty decent value. Very helpful with a late arrival and staff lovely to my two young children. Room as basic but warm and the beds decent. A shower in the bath without a screen always annoys me though! A bit of a walk up to the village and Super Chatel gondola but also a bus stop right out the front. Overall pretty good and would probably stay again. "

"My partner, her daughter and I stayed here for one week for a ski trip. We drove from England and it was easy to find and has a secluded car park. Booking in was easy and we were shown to our room. We didn't try breakfast but we had dinner one night and it was really good. Its a proper french restaurant with a great chef, good service and rich wine list. There is some good communal areas with board games and tables. They also have a bar across the road that is a very nice and family friendly...

One New Years Eve , following our starter, we actually sat and watched half a dozen different guests arrive after us, get served their starter, main and sweet and then leave again, before we had even received our main course.
