"Beautifully kept, immaculate, quiet and comfortable. Tucked down a quiet side street, just a few minutes from the centre, the hotel is uninspiring outside. Inside, the reception area is attractive and bright. Warmly greeted - which continued every time we entered and left (you have to leave your key). Room spotless - perhaps slightly old-fashioned but that added to its charm. Bed much more comfortable than it looked - single long pillow seemed odd but didn't cause us any problems. Slightly odd...

"Beautiful stay - they have restored this property perfectly! Location was wonderful. Rooftop is gorgeous. Great to have a small kitchenette. We had an issue in our room one morning and it was very promptly addressed - staff were helpful and friendly. "

"Extremely basic hotel. Windows could not be opened and the shutters were stuck. However, room was cleaned well each day and new towels provided. Staff were friendly and, im sure, would have been helpful if I needed any. Great central location and the budget price matched expectations"
