"This is our second time staying at this property while visiting Norwich University, a short drive away. The rooms and most importantly to me, the bathrooms were clean and updated. The beds were comfy. It is also not far from Montpelier where you have great dining options. For your convenience, there is an Applebees within walking distance.They offer a nice breakfast.The front staff are friendly and polite. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Looks like this place is undergoing some upgrades which is good, it needs it. Loved that is was old fashioned, the room was quite clean but could use some cosmetic upgrades. Area was very quiet and so was the inn. WiFi was pretty bad, kept going in and out which made it hard to look up things around the area. I would not visit this town again as it was not what I was expecting. It looked like it was stuck in the late 80s to early 90s. Very expensive town. The Inn itself I can’t complain too much...

"The Alpine vibe is definitely there. I felt like I was back in Europe. I wished the beautiful pictures in the hallway had tags saying where they were taken. Other than that, everything was perfect. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and nice. We will definitely come back."

"We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did...

"We have stayed in many properties at Stowe and this was our favorite. The layout is great for a big group and the unit is beautiful, comfortable decor, all the things you need in the kitchen and pretty dishes to top it off. We had two couples and 4 adult children and everyone had plenty of room. The beds were super comfy too! The property manager was excellent, very responsive and accommodating!"

"We loved this place in Stowe. Close to town but still remote enough to be quiet and peaceful. Owner was very helpful - when power went out briefly she immediately came over with a lantern and flashlight for us to use. Would definitely stay there again."

"This was a lovely place to stay. It felt very comfortable. It was very bright and sunny. Next to train tracks, but maybe because it's up on the third floor, it did not bother us at all. The main area is much bigger than it looks in the pictures Close to everything in Waterbury, and a short drive to Stowe, Waitsfield, and other locations around the state. I hope to stay here again sometime."

"This is a great property, and we would stay again.The Lodge is a great location for family trips. The two adjoining rooms, each with their own door and bathroom worked out great for us so the teens and Parents could enjoy some quite time when needed, but gather in the central kitchen, dining, and family room. "We selected this property, as we were looking for a pet friendly location, close to Stowe Mt Resort. The accommodations were clean. We had everything we needed to make breakfast, including spices, tea & coffee. I highly recommend the Roastery, which is located close by. Since it was wintertime in VT, I accessed a private road across the street, which was plowed, in order to walk my dog. the rental was quiet, especially for being on such a busy road. There were many dining options a short drive...
