"The hotel was good and the staff friendly. The area is convenient to walk close to the bars, restaurants, and museums, but the only complaint I have there is not staff to help you to bring your luggage upstairs and downstairs and there are long stairs to claim. I suggest they should have a leat one person that assist you with your suitcases like ike other hotels I have stayed before..."

"Overall, this hotel is a little oasis. The downside is our room is small and feels extra small because the windows are covered in decorative film (for privacy) but that means you cannot see out of them at all so it feels a little claustrophobic. But other than that, the hotel is lovely, the staff is great and the restaurant is outstanding. Plus the location has us feeling like locals even though we are in a tourist area. That is a big bonus. Very happy with our stay and will come back again. "

"José made our stay more comfortable, as we asked to change rooms since our original room had some mold and I was having a hard time sleeping. Jose accommodated us to a different room and I slept great. It’s a really old building (like 300+ years old) so it was not surprising that there was some moisture, since Santo Domingo is so humid. The Beaterio has a fascinating history and is quite peaceful and quiet. "
