"I truly do not understand why there are so many negative reviews about this hotel… I do not have a single negative thing to say about it. This was my first trip to Europe, and it was a solo trip. Upon arrival, (Jose or Julio, I can not remember his name unfortunately…) was so kind and accommodating. He spoke wonderful English and was a great conversationalist—making me feel immediately at home. They checked me in quickly and efficiently and even showed me everything inside the room and stayed...

"This hotel was clean, safe, and quiet. It was conveniently located far from all the tourism craziness but also close to all the attractions we were visiting. We easily ordered a taxi from this hotel to the Vatican/Colosseum/Steps/Fountain which was faster than walking. The manager was so hospitable and offered great dining suggestions. One of the restaurants around the corner was Al forno della soffitta which was our favorite meal of our entire trip."

"The property was hidden away on a side street. The room was clean and in decent condition. There were some marks to the head board. The private bathroom for our room was along the hall as opposed to being en suite was the only thing which stopped this from being a 5 star review. The whole staff are very good and responsive. I would recommend it to my friends, as location is great: 15 minute walk to collosseum, trevi fountain is about similar, pantheon a bit further like 30 minutes."

"We got the quadruple room at the hotel. Room was right next to the street and there was traffic noise throughout the night. It was like sleeping on the street. For A/c you have to pay extra. For towel change pay extra. Free Wi-Fi wasn't working and the staff said there was no plan to fix it. Overall, one of the worst hotel experiences. There was virtually no space in the shower to hang the towel. it was so small. Same with the washroom. I don't think a large person would be able to turn around....
