"The hotel is really well located, near the city's shopping district. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The bath is really nice, and the view of the city is beautiful. I will definitely consider returning to this hotel if I get the chance."

"I really enjoyed my one night stay here. The check in staff were very helpful and we had a very pleasant twin room. You select the amenities you want for the room in the lobby- there’s no wastage. The walk to the local shopping street and cable car to the castle on the hill is easy. And there is a tram over the way which we used to get to the Dogo Onsen. The room was fastidiously clean (as most of Japan is) and quiet. Great choice in Matsuyama."

"The place exceeded expectations from the very beginning where you are greeted at the front entrance. The lobby is large with many tables and seats while waiting for the checkin process. The tatami room was clean and large with a great view of the mountain and Sakura trees. Before dinner a short walk down the hill takes you to Dogo Onsen and small shops. "If all you want is someplace to sleep, then this may be OK. They do not clean the room while you are. They ask you to put the trash and towels outside your room for pick-up. Place is old, with some rooms having peeling paint on walls. Room was quiet and wifi was good. "
