"From the moment you enter, the gorgeous scent of what's to come envelopes you. An absolutely gorgeous check-in area. It felt like walking into a museum. Beautifully curated and most importantly, the warm embrace of the people working within the establishment. Giulia, Leedia, and the other fine gentlemen, as well as the owner were present. This was only the 3rd week the hotel/hostel has been in operation. The owner, an absolute gentleman, greeted me and introduced me to his staff the first 10...

"A great place for students or people on a budget. The staff are really friendly. The location is great - things are never really more than a 20 min walk or 10 min tram ride away. However, being right in the centre means there was a lot of noise so might not be ideal for light sleepers. The stairs to the rooms are pretty narrow and steep which could be problematic for anyone with knee problems or if your'e really stoned :)"

"The location is great and the value was very good. It is in an area where the partying goes on until late in the morning so perhaps be aware of that if you plan on going to bed early and need quiet."

"You get what you pay for, you can’t complain. 5 stars as it just a walk away from the main train station and it is right in the middle of Amsterdam city Centre. Be prepared to walk up stairs as there was no elevator for the building. Once I arrived my room was actually upgraded to a better room which was nice but at the very top floor. I’m fairly athletic so it was not much of a hassle for me."
