"Beautiful hotel in a wonderful peaceful setting about a ten minute shuttle to San Gimignano. High end restaurant was wonderful but pricey so for the second night we ate in the lobby restaurant. Highly recommend this oasis. "

"This place is amazing! The views are spectacular. The room was perfect and the grounds are exactly what you’d expect for Tuscany. The owner is on hand at all times and is very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until midnight. He stayed up for us and talked us through the directions there. You do need a car if you’re staying here since there is no public transportation. "

"This luxury property is located on a hill in the Tuscan countryside, accessible via a windind road so its not walkable or convenient to anything else. But the incredible views, scenery and indoor spa made up for that. Its the only 4/5 star hotel near San Gimigiano i could find and the front desk staff were lovely and very helpful. Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were good."

"Simply the most relaxing situation one could imagine. Just a perfect blend of nature, farm edges (e.g. not a resort) but unreal food/wine. Just hanging out by the pool all day or walking vineyards or simply just "being" while the Tuscan sun rejuvenates your soul. It was a fantastic couple of days that was restorative and memorable."

"If you're looking for a place that's quiet and off the beaten path this is it! Set in the beautiful country side, the scenery and gorgeous views itself will calm even the most turbulent mind! My family and I (3 total- English speakers only-which was fine most staff was able to communicate) stayed only one night, but it was wonderful. The place is a bit rustic, but in good condition. "Our host was exceptional! Usually she was on the premise but if not was easy to contact with any questions. She came in early for our early check in! Had plenty of recommendations not only about San Gimignano but surrounding towns. She made us a reservation for New Year's Eve having to call several to get us a spot! The location was perfect as it was close to everything, especially the unloading area! Although a breakfast was not available we were able to get a discount at the recommended...

"The proprietor Manfredi was very accommodative, informative about the area and even gave us a tour of the property. The room was exceptionally clean, and with a car only about 2-3 minutes from San Gimignano. The property affords great views of the Tuscan landscape."
