"Large property - suffered from recent flooding when I was there. Saw a lot of interesting birds and other wild life on the property. The rooms were large - but the space was not well utilized. I had the impression that there was a lot of deferred maintenance that was overdue. Nonetheless, it was comfortable. The food was OK."

"Picked this place for location. But it’s outdated and an older hotel. Staff barely speaks English but were VERY friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was great. Nice pool in the property. Restaurant/bar next door with night time karaoke if you’re in to that. AC worked GREAT. Rooms were spacious but need updating. "It's a basic but nice hotel. We stayed for 3 nights to explore the area. The rooms in the back are right in the forest. There is not much in the room. A chair and a shelf in the bathroom would have been nice. We visited the Braulio Carrillo National Park, a 40-minute drive from the hotel. It was very quiet (Dec. 27th).
