"It is a nice spot, especially traveling alone. Very inexpensive dormitory accommodations. Staff and guests were friendly and relaxed, and common areas are pleasant. The area around is excellent, near a cooperative bookstore and wine bar and the excellent museum at Castillo Ursino. Very congenial—not much privacy and no frills lodgings, but a good experience. "

"The hotel is in a great location just down the street from the main square. It is in an older building - the pictures on the site accurately depict what it looks like. The rooms are large and clean. The staff is lovely, and the breakfast is a nice perk. The front desk is open 24/7 which makes coming and going super easy. Very close to all the main sights in Catania. "

"The reviews are correct..there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the hotel. Once you are up there, it is quite nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room had a huge balcony but the thinnest bathroom. Hard to sit down if you know what I mean. Breakfast was fine. Easy walk from the train station. The neneighborhood does not look great but only a few blocks to the town center....beautiful. Catania is a lovely city and Bmode is a good place to stay to explore."
