The renting neighbors had the same problem. Earplugs weren't enough. After several sleepless nights we reached out to the property manager. His answer on our message was: You're not in the city center you're at a farm!!! I spare you the details of the later on rude communication from his side. His solution was to place the dogs...

"What an incredible place! Situated just beneath the city of Paterno but in the beautiful and quiet country you have an amazing view of the Etna. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean.The food is just delicious (try the pesce spada) and Signora Maria is the kind soul of the place. I will return!"
