"Very clean hotel, and well located in quiet street behind the main station. Room was large and comfortable if a little dated from 90s but the bathroom and shower were brand new and excellent. Great power shower with lots of hot water! Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good choices-food was tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly especially AppleJay at Reception who bent over backwards to make us welcome at check-in. "

"We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel has a vintage look and the rooms are renovated and always clean. The hotel manager was very helpful and was there when we needed him. Overall, I recommend this hotel to everybody that wants to visit the Rhine-Ruhr region area, as it is perfect for that: close to every kind of transport and perfect sleeping conditions after a day of exploring."

"Auf dem ersten Blick optisch ganz angenehm, auch der Frühstücksbereich an der Anmeldung. Die junge Dame sprach aber kaum Deutsch, war aber sehr nett. Es handelt sich um ein umgebautes Mietshaus gleich in der Nähe vom Bhf.und das ist sehr gut. Ich würde aber keine 3 Sterne vergeben. Das Zimmer war farblich und optisch ersteinmal ansprechend, später allerdings müsste man feststellen das sich die Matratze des Bettes schon auflöste, das ist ein Now Go. Das Ganze wirkt auch eher wie ein...

BUT: note that the hotel is not "fully operational" 24/7....reception services are not given between 22:30 - 11:30(!!!) in the morning - so if you have any issues during this time period - (say 8:00 in the morning...) - you are not in the best situation ever (available phone line was not occupied when we try to get an answer to a problem and we had to wait for 11:30 for the reception guy to...
