"We stayed for a two night stay and we had to wait 45 minutes to get the key in a snowstorm. The apartment was functional but that's about it. The toilet seat was broken as was the table leg. It is a good walk up the hill and it only has oil fired plug in heaters and the heating was insufficient for the extreme temperatures in February. These apts are cheap but not that cheerful."

Would recommend trying to get a pass to take the parador up to the hostel, as it's quite a trek from the bus station if you're dragging a suitcase. Room was perfect and excellent value.
