"We have just stayed at Mail Sunrise. We had a Balinese suite which was on the top floor of a small 2 storey block. I was under the impression we were getting a stand alone bungalow but once we entered the room I was happy! It was beautiful. "Absolutely loved this place. However, I missed not having any sun loungers on the beach to relax. The stairs were quite hard work to walk up as our room was right at the top. But the staff and the view was still worth it. We especially loved having breakfast brought to our room in the mornings."

"The hotel was great and had everything we needed. Check in was really smooth and the host was super friendly and spoke good English. Hotel room was nice and clean and you could choose to have the room cleaned and bed made or not every day. We were given complimentary water every day which was useful. Having AC and a hot shower was great. Also really well located, close to the walking street and sunrise beach."

"Honeymoon suite , lovely hotel. Food was great for lunch and evening meals on the beach. Nice chilled music and great location. Was worried it may be hectic at the bottom of walking street. Only negatives are the curtains weren't wide enough to block out all the sun and as a vegetarian, omelettes and eggs were cooked on the same grill as bacon. "The staff are excellent. Always pleasant, and very helpful and attentive. Breakfasts were wonderful with lots of choice. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful location - especially given how developed KoLipe has become (at times overwhelming). The only critique is that with the limit on lounging beds around the pool something must be done to give more fair and equal/equitable access. It is NOT acceptable that people could come out early, park their towels on the beds and aften would never appear...

"Loved this hotel and their staff! Staff did everything to make me feel special and my vacation fun and relaxing. Perfect location on the beach (with sun chairs) next to restaurants, beach massage spa, and short beach walk to the Walking Street & Sunset Beach. Will stay here again. "

"Cabins were clean and tidy on arrival, the staff were also super helpful, probably the best service we received in Thailand. The cafe on the beachfront was really nice, proper tasty food and drinks.
