"My room was cool though it does feel outdated. Sometime AC wont give you full AC if you keep sweating while your sleeping. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay staff are very friendly. Their is a shuttle bus to airport but it's NOT FREE. Their is nl elevator for those who have disabilities be aware. I will stay again :) Thank you very much!"

"Hamachidorinoyu Kaisyu is a lovely onsen ryokan. The baths were outstanding, two indoor and two outdoor, one of hinoki wood and and one of stone, slightly different in temperature to accommodate most tastes. The water views were excellent, and soaring hawks could often be seen. The food was excellent and abundant. "Conveniently located within walking distance from JR Wakayama and in front of the bus station, hotel is well situated for travelling to other parts of Wakayama or within the city. Hotel is pretty old and rooms are small sized. Bathroom is pretty compact which is typical of Japanese hotels. "This is an excellent higher end business hotel with a very nice onsen. Right across from the JR Station and lot's of shopping and eating options. Our room was in the East Tower which had its own private entrance which is more convenient than entering via the hotel lobby. Recommended."
