"Liked its location next to the main station (Hauptbahnhof), with the main shopping streets nearby, but its location in the pedestrian area made pickups by taxi challenging. Generous breakfast buffet, but no cooked breakfast available. My room was on third third floor with no lift, so it is not for those with mobility issues. The room had no carpeting, and so you need to bring your slippers. On the first night the soap container in the shower was empty; I am sure that they would have fixed it...

"The hotel Burgund is a jewel in this city. I spent one night in Mönchengladbach and really enjoyed staying there. The hotel is very nicely decorated including the halls, room and dining room. Breakfast was excellent and very traditional with an egg, multiple kinds of breads accompanied with ham, cheese, etc."
