"We love this hotel - the staff are lovely, it’s clean, has parking, it’s close to the beach and a nice walk to the shops, bars and restaurants."

"Nice and clean but they should update their details/services because there is no more share fridge, no share microwave and the bar/restaurant (with breakfast available as they say on the website) is closed for good. Was a disappointment for us. And not having these services anymore I think it is overpriced for what you get."

The beds were of poor quality, one broke when someone lied down, however it was replaced quickly. Staff is friendly and responsive on WhatsApp, but there is no way to talk to someone on the phone, and there is no staff working in person at the hotel. "Great location, about 50m back from the beach at Portbou. Friendly welcome at reception. Single room was quite comfortable, although basic. Fan in room inadequate versus the heat! Shared bathroom with two other rooms - ok"

"This place is truly a gem! The location was wonderfully off-the-beaten-track, making it seem even more of an oasis. The short walk to the beach was fun, and the beach itself was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic, with jambon, fresh fruit and warm, fresh baked bread. We can't wait to return. Ideally located for exploring the Costa Brava."
