"This was a fabulous hotel! With a rental car easy access to the city center but with all the convenience of free parking and quiet streets. Staff were exceptionally welcoming on arrival and breakfast spread ample and satisfying. I hope to be back!"

"Many thanks to Jovana and Jan hosting us and making us feel like home . It was a pleasure spending the weekend over there , walking around , dining in th castle and enjoying the surroundings. This is not the high season so you make want to book some other month if you wish a more Vivid experience. By far, the very best steak Tatar I have ever tried in my entire life! Should visit for sure! "

"This was our first visit to Slovenia. We loved the Apple tree cottage. It was private, quiet and peaceful and clean. We loved walking to the village and the surrounding country side is absolutely bucolic. Igor was very responsive. I lost my phone and had trouble communicating directly and Igor was accommodating of this glitch. We enjoyed meeting his parents on our last day. They are lovely people."
