The views of the town from the well-appointed deck and apartment were among the best I’d ever experienced. "Prachtig huis, niet ver van de Moezel. Erg rustig, geen terrasjes of winkels aanwezig. Wel mogelijk om vanuit het huis mooie wandelingen te maken. Huis is prachtig en heerlijk ruim, balkon met mooi uitzicht. Goede locatie om vanuit hier de omgeving te verkennen. Zeer aardige gastvrouw. En ze hebben heerlijke wijn, Jan de wijnboer verzorgd een heerlijke wijnproeverij ter plekke."

"We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"Very nice. Only drawback is that they don't do breakfast (there is a good kitchen with everything you need if you have supplies). There is a coffee machine and there's a bakery just up the street that was open even on Sunday morning, so it isn't a disaster if you don't come equipped."
