This hotel is somewhat close to the central area of Zurich/Old Town. It’s about a 15 minute tram ride which stops steps away from the front door. The room I had was small but comfortable. The breakfast was good - selection of cheese, yoghurt, breads, cereal, some bite sized fruit, juices, etc. It was enough to fill me up. I would recommend this hotel as it’s convenient and reasonably priced for the Zurich area.

We chose Hotel Neufeld because it is close to my grandson’s apartment. It is very clean with a very nice staff. The room and especially the bathroom was very small, but it was adequate for us. The breakfasts were excellent. It was also very close to transportation making it easy to get around the city. I would recommend it for anyone who needs to stay in that part of town.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind, Monika was wonderful. The locale was perfect with trams extremely close. The walls are a bit thin, hearing the people next door talking endlesly, other than that, no problems.

I have never ever stayed at a hotel where every single member of staff was so friendly as at the Neufeld hotel. I'd highly recommend it, due to its location, price and great breakfast.

Plain hotel, ten minutes to center
Tram and bus lines one block away - convenient! Inexpensive rooms are incredibly small and bathrooms are REALLY small. Plain decor.helpful staff. Fine for no frills experience. If there are two of you, ask for a bigger room. Still not pricey for Zurich.
