"Our holiday in the Villa met all our high expectations. The Villa has superb accommodation and outside areas and facilities. The Management Company looked after a couple of issues which arose, including loss of hot water, very quickly. Makry Gialos is a fantastic and authentic resort, away from the tourist hot spots. "Our second stay here and it was just as good as the first time. Spacious and well equipped. Air conditioning kept it comfortable at night. Brilliant pool just a few metres away and with the beach and village just a few minutes walk everything you need is within easy access. We had a small water leak in the bathroom but 30 minutes after reporting it a member of staff arrived and it was quickly fixed. We were expecting a clean at the end of the first week. It wasn’t a big deal and we could have chased it up."

"A lovely place, situated conveniently close to beaches, various restaurants, local shops and a 'mini'market'. Free parking is available uncovered or covered. None of the properties around the 20m x 10m pool look at each other, increasing your privacy. The only downside was the management dealing with problems etc. We advised them that the TV was not working. They said that that they would arrange for an engineer to come out, but nobody came."

"This beautiful rustic cottage was ideal for our two week stay in mid May with our daughter and her husband. It’s on a hillside, is very private, has a lovely terrace overlooking the tiny village and the ocean. We had the local beach to ourselves and enjoyed several nearby pristine (and empty) beaches as well. There are excellent family-run tavernas within walking distance and many hikes in stunning nearby gorges. Ioanna welcomed us with homemade jam and biscuits and the local raki liqueur and was attentive to our every need. We could not have asked for a more restful and pleasant experience. Thank you Ioanna!"
