"Overall good. All SPA services are chargeable, Good location. I left my earbuds in the room which were found. The hotel will not send them to me by tracked post ( at my cost) as their policy is for me to arrange a courier pick up for delivery to the UK which is not cost effective- very disappointed that they cannot be more helpful. "What a wonderful hotel! From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed. The staff was superb....very professional and extremely well-mannered. I have seldom ever been treated with such courtesy or respect as I experienced from the staff at this hotel! The buffet breakfast was fabulous...the room, wonderful! My only regret was having to check-out and leave!"

"Great hotel with good staff. This hotel is conveniently located at the edge of the Old Town. They have a parking garage at the building, which makes it easy to park. However, they are not able to reserve parking. The breakfast was excellent and room clean and decent size. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"We had a fantastic stay in Grand Poet Hotel. We booked the Deluxe room and we were given room 419, which had a fantastic view over the park and Riga old town. There was plenty of room for 3 people including our son. Room was tastefully decorated and super clean. We utilized the valet parking which was really convenient. Charge was 30 Euros per night. Hotel was walking distance from everything, including all the nice restaurants in the old town. SPA was nice, but a bit overcrowded at all times....

"We loved being so close to the centre of Riga. The room was good but a little noisy through the walls from other residents but the hotel provided ear plugs with this in mind. Breakfast was interesting as it was catering for a wide range of tastes. "

"The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Latvian National Library and overlooks the Daguava River. Beautiful and relaxing river walk available to hotel guests. The staff were simply outstanding from the front desk attendants to the housekeeping staff. Everyone is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous."
