The property was wonderful, small and intimate. The staff were fantastic - Fracesco; Caesar, Nina, all the front desk staff, the maintenance staff, maids, you name it, they were all fantastic, courteous, generous, respectful and very service oriented for certain.
The pool was wonderful, the food fantastic, bar and beverages amazing. We enjoyed doing the walk down and up the stairs to get into town. It is a challenging walk about 144 steps. Pace yourself and it is a great experience. We did it several times during our stay and we also walked back up at night. There is lighting but I recommend taking a small flashlight.
We did eat one night at Coco Bahia and it was fine. We did not try Casa Bahia, but the menu looked good, we heard good things. It was a bit pricey. We actually enjoyed the food and service at WorldMark (aka - Villa Vera Puerto Mio) just fine and so had most of our dinner there.
We enjoyed going to La Ropa (Beach) where we did Yoga at Paty's Marimar and where we enjoyed a great breakfast, lunches and was able to use their seats and umbrella's of course presuming you support their business which we did. We did not enjoy Las Gattas as much. Rough gravely ocean and very focused on getting you to buy stuff. The water taxi was fine, you don't have to tip for them helping you get in the boat, and they will ask.
