"Didn’t find it easily as the entrance wasn’t clear but the hosts were absolutely lovely. They gave us plenty of recommendations for places to eat and drink, and were helpful when there was a power cut during the night. The room was great with a large comfy bed but visiting the toilet in the night was a little awkward as our private bathroom was across a hallway…having said that we would definitely return and recommend. "

"This is a beautiful hotel just a short walking distance to central Verona. Our room felt newly renovated. It was bright and tastefully done. On our 2 week trip, we had been staying mostly in apartment rentals. This was a welcome break. I wish we could have stayed longer. "

"I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. "Stayed in a room with a nice quiet balcony. This was the perfect place in my opinion, just far enough to be away from the crowds but a ~5 min walk to the old town and sites. Good places to eat within steps. Breakfast was simple but good. Eggs, ham, croissant, etc. The last day I had an early train and sandwiches were left in my fridge to take with in the am. If I come back to Verona, I would stay here without considering other options. "

"Betty’s House….what an amazing B&B. It’s a hidden gem. Rooms are lovely, clean and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking the garden/pool area. Breakfast was fab. Defo plentiful and a good variety of it. What’s makes this place even more beautiful is the owner Betty. What a lovely, friendly and helpful lady. Really enjoyed our stay. "The host Milena is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Easy check-in and parking. It is also easy to access the city centre by bus as there are bus stops nearby. A lot of options for breakfast in the morning. The room is not the biggest in the world but it is very clean and has all the amenities needed. Would recommend."

"We stay for 5 nights at Le Albare and were very happy. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. We always served with nice service during breakfast. It was very pleasant and friendly. We recommend this place to anyone. It was a treasure!!"

"Pictures are not accurate. The check-in is in hotel around the corner. There is no river view. One window did not have a heavy curtain to keep out the light, so I tried to shut the shutters which did not work. The room had one lightbulb out that never got replaced. The walls are paper thin, so I could hear residents talking in their rooms. 10AM check-out is too early. Location is the best asset. "

"We loved everything about our stay!! Antonella I think was her name the owner was very attentive even before our arrival answering our messages and requests! The hotel itself is beautiful looks brand new! Our room so spacious and finally a comfortable bed where we can rest!! Nice pillows too! "Once you figure out the parking it’s very nice. You have to park on the street across from the train tracks or at the square where the Hotel Mantova is. Then you cross under the tracks at the tunnel. Villa is 180 degree turn once you come up stairs. There is a security gate that you will need to ring the bell. After that a key will open. Room fine. "The area of town seemed a little sketchy. The apartment building is definitely older. Our apartment was clean but had a really strong floral scent which was horrible for someone with scent sensitivities. The bed was saggy and tge pillows were really flat. Some of the dishes were chipped. Ok for one night but would not stay again."

"Just in Verona for a quick overnight and wish we had more time after enjoying this hotel and its great location! Very walkable to restaurants, shopping, beautiful piazzas, and the train station. Hotel staff was friendly and gave wonderful options for a few restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, nicely decorated, had fabulous ambient lighting and a fairly large bathroom and perfect waterfall shower! "

"Giovanni at the front desk was Súper courteous and nice! I don’t like the breakfast poor choices, too Many sweets wasn’t good neither, the egg was runny and the bacon under cook and the crosaint over cook! Also the shower was slippery almost fell"

"Perfect location, so close to the open theatre, restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived in the morning. Our room was small but the bed was comfortable and it was handy having bedside tables that charge your phone wireless. The bathroom was a little tired but shower was powerful and we had a balcony with a view of the theatre. We loved the rooftop bar, even if the drinks were a little pricey. The complimentary appetisers were delicious though. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again! The only suggestion I’d have is, it would be nice if the hotel celebrated special occasions with something complimentary in the room like a bottle of wine or chocolates. They knew it was for a special occasion but they only offered for us to pay for balloons, flowers or wine. It would have just made it extra special."

Perfect Location to visit Verona

"We chose the hotel because of it's location, 15 minute walk to the train station and bus connecting to the airport. Bus to airport is around 8 euros. Perfectly located to get to the center of the city, too, if you are OK with walking, we didn't take public transportation or taxes, and went all the way to the Castel San Pietro, on top of the hill with the viewpoint. Everything in the hotel was clean and modern, they have bikes that you can borrow for free to get to the center, if you prefer that"
