"Outstanding location in the pedestrian friendly old town center with many shops and restaurants closeby. Hotel is on the river and has excellent views including from our room. Histroical front facade. Nicely renovated and clean. Coffee shop had good coffee and excellent local deserts like Lebkuchen (gingerbread), Kurbis-Walnuss (pumpkin-walnut-cream cheese-cake), and Preiselbeer-Baiser (berry filled pie shaped cake with a merrangue topping). We parked in the big underground municipal lot under the garden-park in front of the turist office - a 5 minute walk. The helpful coffee shop waitress suggested a small local pub nearby (name: Kachelofen) on the way to the castle, cozy with loads of character and delightful local and traditional German dishes. Highly recommend."

"First time in Germany, or Europe ever. Blindly booked this Hotel, and was amazed at the property and all of the staff. Not knowing how to speak German, the staff was eager to take time out for me to help me navigate the city of Schweinfurt. First time in Germany and I was made to feel safe and at home! My daily breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and unbelievably prepared! Amazing chefs and restaurant staff. Most notably was “Matthew”! Very friendly and informative. Knowing that I was there alone, and unfortunately with Schweinfurt and/or Germany spent every available moment with directions sights to visit. He kept my safety in mind with trains, taxis and whenever I was going on foot. Normally I’m difficult to completely please, but I couldn’t find anything negative to comment. I certainly hope the management there values “Matthew” as much as the guests there do! "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a little trouble with the heat but the staff was helpful in fixing this item. "

"Overall, our stay was great. The manager was on site daily and was actually there when we checked in to assist. The beds are very comfortable, as are the pillows. The showers have good water pressure and get warm/ hot quickly. The challenges of this facility are that the wi-fi doesn't work and that our parking spot was stolen by other guests on two occasions and there was no way to remedy this situation. "

"GREAT AMAZING HOTEL. A bit pricey but for the comfort and location for spa it's GREAT! Breakfast buffet is the best one I have ever been to. They have everything you would want for breakfast. It also has the BEST times until 1100 weekdays and noon weekends. AMAZING. I highly recommend. The spa was NOT the best. To get drinks you either go to the restaurant or a small bar in spa area. The bar was the smallest I have ever seen and way too SMALL for the amount of visitors and the size of spa. It had a very SMALL pool to walk up too but it was always pretty full and DEFINITELY understaffed! "

"The hotel is beautiful! The staff are very welcoming and nice! Breakfast was included and it was very good. The Christmas market was 8-10 min walk and so was old town. The DM store was around the corner and so was the marketplace. Would stay here again, i did hear loud music nd people talking at 1 am but it wasnt too bad. "
