"I had looked forward to my stay at the Seehotel, booked for three nights during a business trip. The lakeside location and sauna/steam room facilities sounded ideal. However, upon arrival, I found a note in my room informing me there would be no telephones for the week due to system work. This also meant the sauna and steam room were out of service, as alarms wouldn’t be available in emergencies. There was no internet or Wi-Fi anywhere in the hotel. "Wer die Ruhe sucht sollte unbedingt herkommen. Unglaublich schönes Ambiente, mit großem Seegrundstück, schönem In-door Pool, Bootshaus und Badehaus direkt am See. Auch die verfügbaren Räder sollte man unbedingt zu div. Ausflügen nutzen. Alles ist eben und liegt versteckt in der traumhaften, waldigen Schorfheide, im der unverbrauchten, dünn besiedelten Uckermark. Bei Rad-Ausflügen oder Wanderungen geben die Bäume immer angenehmen Schatten und man kann sich überall im Wasser der unzähligen Seen...

"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. "This is a wonderful place to rest, relax and renew. breakfast is awesome with a lake view. Rooms though expensive and small, mean you can come back from the spa when tired through the connecting hotel to your room to rest. Aufguss somewhat sparse, sea sauna on the lake makes the place unique.. Winter or summer, always a pleasant stay..."
