Raymond’s villa lived up to expectations, from the minute I opened the entrance door, seeing the pool to walking inside with my son to run around selecting one of the three ample bedrooms. "I would give this stay 10 out of 10. The location is amazing and easy to find. Right near the main roads but hidden away and secluded with a beautiful outdoor pool and patio. "Villa was lovely, very clean with lots of quirky bits to it. Lots of winding steps to bedrooms so not good if you have mobility issues. Only downside was only a small amount of sun by pool (possibly because we went in September) it may be different in earlier months. Although lots of sun on upper terrace, it was nice to have an outdoor shower so easy to cool off. Unfortunately while we were there a lot of dog barking from nearby which was frustrating at times. But all in all a very enjoyable...

"This house is just a wow from top to bottom. The house itself just oozes history and has been maintained, decorated and updated in a completely sympathetic manner. We were a family of 6 (should have been 7 but there was no issue with changes at the last minute) All the rooms were a good size for the whole family, large well equipped kitchen and upstairs salon. "Loved the farmhouse and especially the pool and hot tub. In Sept, still warm enough to use the pool. The area is so quiet, you’d think there are no tourists. Simona was very helpful upon checkin and easy to reach during our stay. Upon departure when we could not prebook a cab for 5 am, she did it for us or we would have been stranded. Bus system in Gozo / Malta is great but not available if you must leave early in the morning to catch a flight. Overall the whole trip was awesome. "

"The owners Ray and his wife are very warm and welcoming and as they live above the apartments were onhand to answer any questions, give advice and recommendations. The apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Location was great, down a quiet road with plenty of parking. Lovely pool and well kept gardens. Within walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for having us. plenty of parking spaces for hire car."

"Had a great stay here for a week when coming to Malta for a wedding. Villa had everything we needed and more. Loads of space and activities to do. 10 min walk to the water park. Kids loved the pool. Few issues. Parts of the ceiling did fall down ina bedroom but host got it cleaned up right away. And there was a problem with the en-suite toilet on the last night. Did keep getting reminded about electric and water usage which was odd when you’ve have paid thousands and the villa was half empty...

"We had a great week. The villa is spacious and well equipped. There were some lovely touches eg lots of cleaning equipment, bin bags and a cupboard full of extras eg spices, cooking oil and a welcome pack. These are all things that we’ve had to purchase ourselves in other villa stays. The villa is easy to get to and close to main routes down both the east and west of the island. "

"Place clean and basic however pool is in the shade most of the morning. There was a lot of construction work going which started at 7:30 went on through the day. Layout was strange but made the the most of our stay"

"We found this apartment very comfortable, spotlessly clean and tidy. It was equipped with everything we needed. Shower was excellent. The only downside was the building works, but I suppose that couldn't be helped. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again."

"A Delightful Stay at Azur Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at Azur Hotel. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the local area, with many attractions and a wide selection of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. Breakfast each morning has a wide selection of delicious options to suit every taste. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, the breakfast spread was both varied and satisfying. I highly recommend Azur Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, well-situated, friendly and reasonably priced place to stay."

"Positives first: Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, superb bathroom. Friendly staff. Definitely staying here again. Negatives: we stayed Friday and Saturday nights. It can get very noisy on Saturday nights when the people start leaving from the nearby bars, clubs and restaurants. I could hear people shouting on the streets till 4AM. This was room 402. I will ask for some other room next time."
