"Helpful staff"

"The check in was fabulous and we had a lovely room (Room 1) that actually has a kettle! We had a terrace with views of Xativa Castle and also the town and valley, all framed by pine and cypress trees. Deb had injured her knee so was able to sit on the terrace, read her book and chill as we watched the sunset. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel and the breakfast was fabulous and we ate far too much delicious food. After breakfast I had a wander around the grounds. The views really...

"If our room in this hotel is typical then they are in urgent need of attention. The bed was as hard as rock, half the motorised window blinds did not work (one was also ripped and another had hanging cables where the motor had been removed), the outer light-proof shutters were held open by wooden wedges. On the plus side the bar/restaurant is reasonably welcoming and the food was good."

"After a 4 night stay in busy Valencia we retired to this beautiful Villa in the hills above the town of Xativa for some R&R. The photos don’t do the property justice - from being welcomed at the gate to being given a detailed tour of the property and how everything worked. Dan the host is a star, the perfect balance between keeping out of the way for our privacy and always being just a quick WhatsApp message away from answering any of our daft questions “how do we open the washing machine”! "Clean and convenient location, close to bars, restaurants and castle. Friendly and helpful host. Could be quite noisy from people passing outside and also people banging doors inside. Shared bathroom was cleaned every day and clean towels were provided on arrival but we were there for 3 nights and no change of towels. "
