"Liked: cleanliness, very kind and helpful service by manager and staf, big room with vieuw on port, possibility to rent bicycle and electric car at hotel, environment with snorkeling possibilities and very beautiful beaches, very safe island. Liked less: the price was a bit high for the off season situation. "

"Average experience, this is clearly a newly open residence and only one floor is in service while the owner is still renovating the second floor. Maybe a lot for one person to handle , but professionalism could improve, cleanliness was ok but not perfect and while some things are newly renovated, this is an older building. Owner is helpful though and this may all improve in time . For now it’s a bit expensive for what it is, but there is limited options on Aka island anyways. "

"Yuumi and her team were so lovely and made us feel so welcome in Aka! They picked us up from the port even though it was a short way which was so helpful with our luggage. Hosei is right on the beach front and you can see the best sunset from here as well as relax in the day. It is so tranquil! We went during New Year and many places on the island were closed but they served food which was very traditional Japanese style. The rooms and shared bathroom/shower were always very very clean. You can wash your clothes with the communal machine which was brilliant. We stayed on Aka for a week and had the best time doing scuba and snorkelling too! Thank you Yuumi and team ☀️"
