The only disappointment was the small garden which had been neglected and was overgrown, we weeded and tidied it up for our use. We would all return without hesitation."

The owners house was closer than it seems in the photos but she left us to ourselves unless we needed something. The lane to the Le Gibet is narrow but is one way so you don't have to worry about meeting another car going up. Entering the lane going up the hill is fine as its on the right. "A large group of us stayed at the gîte, which included 6 adults & 4 young children. The owners were out when we arrived late evening to the gîte; they had pre-warned me already to say they would be out. They responded promptly to opening the electric gates to let us in. The key was easily located as per their message. It has a large parking area and we had no problem with parking despite having 3 cars within our group. The area is quiet, remote & relaxing.
