"The scenery was beautiful. The wifi didn't work and we had no service but we didn't mind cause we enjoyed getting away not having to worry about anything. The beds were not the best hard to sleep on. The kitchen was perfect for being able to cook. The bathrooms were also nice Overall we enjoyed our stay; the owners were super friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again. "

"Lovely home in a beautiful place. We enjoyed the screened porch and the bedrooms with their own bathrooms were perfect for our 3 adult children and their partners. It was a great "home base" for visiting our friends in Abiquiu and at Ghost Ranch, shopping in Santa Fe, and hiking at Bandelier and in the Carson National Forest. "We enjoyed the gorgeous views and rustic and creative New Mexico style of the Biblioteca. Kitchen was complete for cooking meals, bedroom was comfortable, cozy and warm in the winter, and the cobblestone shower and bathroom were unique and fun. The porch with couch and table were perfect for sunsets with a glass of wine looking out at Pedernal Mountain. "

"Well stocked house, everything we needed was there. Great communications with the host and she add points of interest not on any searches! Clean and nicely decorated, like being at home. There is a 200 yard road that is a bit rough if in a smaller car, but it is passable."

"43 acre private property" does not suggest there are many houses next to one another, which there are. We thought we'd be all alone, and there was a house a few yards from us. You don't learn about the wildlife - stray dogs, roaming cattle, bear, etc. until you read the check-in book. They should disclose this before people book, not after you are...
