"Terrible experience. Host never showed and vrbo dropped the ball on making it right. Had to self lodge for three nights of one week vacation. Then vrbo stuck me at some backwoods fishing camp. Still have not recovered refund or costs of self lodging when they assured me that I would receive both. Terrible customer service and overall vacation experience from hell. Never using vrbo ever again."

"We had a lovely time at this cottage. It was very clean, all the kitchen things you need are provided, and it's right on the lake. The decks and dock were great spots to spend a weekend, and the bbq came in handy. It's close to a town too if you forget anything. Some downsides to note: There was a large tv, but unfortunately the wifi didn't really work, so keep that in mind if that's an important part of your stay. "The place is astonishing, cozy, homey, and very charming. We found it pleasantly spacious for 4 people. The kitchen has all the supplies and basics you might need. The grounds around and the nature at the lake are just stellar. True beauty star of Kawartha region. Not many motorized vehicles on the water. Perfect for sweeming. Water was cristal clear and warm. The hosts are such lovely people, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay is enjoyable and were able to give us great tips on...
