"I really enjoyed my stay at Kashiwaya Ryokan. Although it was long to get to without a car, it was worth the travel. The 2 days there didn’t feel like it was enough time. I will return again for sure. The room was comfortable, the private onsen were beautiful and amazing. The kaiseki served at dinner were delicious and perfectly balanced. "The outdoor private onsen is amazing. Staff with limited English but willing to help. The booking system for the private onsen is based on first come first serve, no reservation ahead so you have to keep calling front desk to check for availability....that needs to be changed. Other than that, I'd recommend it to those who enjoy traditional Japanese Ryokan."

"Close to bus station. Close to stone steps. Older hotel but staff was very nice. Near steep hill, so I walked about 50 yards to ask staff at driveway if this was the hotel I was looking for. Then he ran up the hill to help us with our bags. I was very pleased."

"清潔で綺麗なホテルでした。このサイトでは素泊まりプランしかなかったのが残念でした。。。前日にホテルへ相談したところ、+5000円/人で夕食と朝食を後からつけることができ、現地では朝夕ともに個室で美味しくいただきました。温泉も24時間入れるため、滞在中に何度も入りました。他の方のレビューにもあるように、露天風呂の温度は少し低かったですが、温水プールと思えば問題無しでした笑。一応、風呂の上の方に温かいお湯が溜まっているため、手でかき混ぜると全体的に暖かくなります。また今回は貸切風呂も利用してみました（写真アップしときます）。全般的にはかなり良かったと思いますので、また利用させていただきます。"

"We lived tge service, location. The food was scrumptious and hosy even gave us a taste of her homemade ume sake. Delish. We hVe been trying to find one lije it but they all paked compared to hers. "昭和の頃の建物のようでトイレは和式を改装し洋式になっていましたが古さは隠せません。携帯の電波も弱くWi-Fiの環境も無いため若い人には向かないと思います。ただ割烹旅館だけあり料理はとても美味しく楽しめました。また周囲が公園と住宅街という事もあり静かで良かったです。"
