Yorkshire view lodge at Oakwood retreat is our new luxury holiday home for 6 people.
Set on a gated park on the edge of the picturesque Newton upon Derwent, and only 10 minutes from historic York. Full size 40ft x 20 ft lodge built to residential standards.
Brand new in may 2022 and features smart tv 43” in lounge and smart tv in master bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with washer dryer, vacuum cleaner, toaster, kettle, under counter fridge and freezer, iron and ironing board, glasses, cups, cutlery, crockery etc pretty much everything you need. And a high chair for the little ones.
There is a large spacious lounge area with an electric fire to keep warm in winter. The dining area has a large oak table seating 4 and stunning breakfast bar with 2 stools.
There are 2 bedroom one the master bedroom with a king size bed and a shower en-suite. Bedroom 2 is a spacious twin room with a walk in wardrobe. The main family bathroom has a full size bath with shower over. The other bed is in the main living area as the double sofa which pulls down into a double bed.
High quality furnishing and equipment. Towels and bedding included.
The lodge has a private entrance and has enough parking for 3 cars. Outside at the front is large decking area with a luxury sunken hot tub and outdoor furniture for the summer days.
Oakwood retreat is situated in the rolling landscape of the Yorkshire East Riding. Excellent for walking and cycling. The park has 18 lodges set amid the 6 acre grassed and landscaped plot. The park is within walking distance to a pub called the half moon inn. There are plenty of pubs bars restaurants shops all within a 10 minute drive into a lovely village called pocklington.
There are nearby busses into York with lots of attractions and plenty things to do.
And within easy reach to the seaside like Scarborough.
