Located in the Tang Hall area of the city, this cosy property is in a residential part of York, yet just a short walk from the centre. Sleeping four guests, it’s perfect for family holidays and staycations with friends. Boasting workspace and a piano in the converted loft, along with a conservatory dining room, you’ll find plenty of bonuses when staying at Fifth Avenue.

The Space:
Enter Fifth Avenue and enter the bright and airy living room. Featuring a navy feature wall combined with a mostly neutral colour scheme, the space has plenty of warmth. The perfect place to relax during your stay, you can unwind on the comfy sofas and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

The kitchen is a striking light green shade but features white wooden cabinets and modern appliances so you can prepare meals easily.

Ideal for socialising, the conservatory dining room includes a large table and six leather chairs.

The property boasts two tranquil bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature a comfortable double bed with plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have a great night’s sleep.

Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and wash basin. Featuring a clash of grey tiles and a white vanity unit, this space is modern and stylish.

On the second floor is a converted loft space which is perfect for carrying out some work during your stay. Here you'll find a computer monitor and plenty of desk space.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Fifth Avenue are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.

Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Free on-street parking is also available nearby.

Please note that the staircase at Fifth Avenue is quite steep, so the property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility.

Explore The Shambles - a cobbled street which is lined with Elizabethan buildings – where you’ll find a mixture of shops and eateries. Be amazed by the 7th century York Minster and the stunning views from the Central Tower which leads to the highest point in the city.

Step outside of the centre and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. The beautiful Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Wolds are right on the doorstep so you can enjoy long walks in the countryside.

If you fancy venturing further afield, Leeds is easily accessible via the A64. Alternatively, you could hop on the train and be there in around half an hour. Harrogate can also be reached easily by rail in under 40 minutes.

Getting Around:
Fifth Avenue is a short walk from York city centre so getting around can be done on foot very easily.

York train station is located in the city centre and has direct routes to Leeds, Harrogate, Manchester and London.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout York and these cover the city centre, suburbs and many surrounding villages within the City of York.
