Brand new for Autumn 2023, Fawcett Cottage is a beautifully designed two-bedroom holiday home. Boasting stunning interiors and a fantastic location, the property is the perfect retreat for couples, families and small groups of friends. Located in the village of Tollerton, you’ll find pretty Easingwold, historic York, and beautiful moorland just a short distance away.
The Space:
Split across two floors, Fawcett Cottage has a spacious living, kitchen and dining area spanning the entire ground floor, with two bedrooms, and a family bathroom on the first floor.
Featuring a flat screen TV, two comfy sofas and a coffee table, the living area is homely and welcoming. The ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring North Yorkshire, you can cosy up with your loved ones here. Open up the bi-fold doors on to the large, grassed garden, as well as a patio area with seating for all guests.
Fully equipped, the kitchen has modern appliances and cookware so you can really make the most of your self-catering stay. Sharing this space is the dining area which includes a wooden dining table and four chairs to ensure all guests are catered for.
Also on the ground floor is a WC for added convenience.
Take the stairs up to the first floor and you’ll find the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, along with an ensuite shower room and a dressing room. The second bedroom is home to twin single beds which can be merged upon request. All beds are complete plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best night’s sleep.
You’ll also find the family bathroom on this floor. Ultra-modern and clean, the bathroom benefits from a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and a wash basin.
Outside you’ll find a large, grassed garden, as well as a patio area with seating for all guests.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to Fawcett Cottage are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to arrival.
Private on-site parking is available for up to two vehicles at the side of Fawcett Cottage.
Please note that the staircase at Fawcett Cottage is varnished. Extra care should be taken when using the staircase.
Please note that Fawcett Cottage has an electric fireplace, rather than a log burner.

The closest train station to Tollerton can be found in Poppleton, nine miles away. From here, there are direct routes to Harrogate, Horsforth, Knaresborough, Leeds and York.
One bus route can be found running through Tollerton. Hop on the 30 to visit Thirsk and York, as well as a number of North Yorkshire villages.
The closest airport to Tollerton is Leeds Bradford Intenational, 35 miles away from the village.
