It was also close to a nice selection of restaurants which limited long car rides. If anyone was considering booking a stay at this cottage I would 100% recommend it!"

"We had all of the amenities necessary to make this such a homie stay. Everything was included, the neighborhood was adorable and had easy access to main roads and restaurants. Quiet area. The only thing that we would change is a little more attention to detail with cleaning. There seemed to be random items left behind in each room. Otherwise, this host was amazing!"

"Clean, private location, quiet property."

"Staying on a mini farm, surrounded by rolling pastures, chickens, two mini donkeys, and an emu named Ferrari was good for the soul. The cottage was perfect for work, and taking breaks to say hello to the donkeys made the time fly. Arriving to homemade blueberry scones and a dozen farm fresh eggs was lovely! We purchased our meals for the weekend at Central Market, and enjoyed Lancaster and Columbia as much as our short stay would allow. We hope to return, if only to see how big the frolicking...

"Absolutely loved this property. The house was as welcoming and homey as your own! The fridge was nicely stocked with essentials upon arrival (even had organic yogurt pouches for my little one). The basement is nice and wide open for little ones to run around! The beds are all firm memory foam which I am not a fan of but of course that is preference! "

Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed. Getting to the front porch of the house (via GPS) was a bit of a challenge since Google Maps didn't know that there were footpaths leading to it but once we found it all was perfect!"

"The house had all the conveniences of home. Within walking distance of the Tabernacle, Jigger Shop, Playhouse, tennis courts, the Hideaway & playground. Rails to Trails within 1 mile. The parking spot in back of the house is a bit tight but ok for a smaller car. I would recommend bringing bottled water."
