It’s a nice city, the people are friendly enough. My only complaint is that the city could use a bit of a face lift here and there, and public trash cans are difficult to find

"This hotel was very clean and comfortable. About 10 mins outside of Yilan city so it was quiet and relaxing. Hotel seems quite new and beds were comfortable!"

Super kid friendly hotel
"Clean and comfortable room with serviceable features. Very kid friendly hotel, highlight being the cars on level 8. The buffet breakfast was pretty average. The famous restaurant lived up to it's reputation."

There are not many places to visit, we just went for whale and Dolphins watching around turtle island. It was great experience which was enough for us till we go to Taipei.
