"There was always something to do here, whether swimming in the ocean which was more calm than a lake, or in the pool or playing basketball or in the backyard player with sand. There were also so many toys! Our kids range from 3-11 and it was an amazing stay for all. As a mother to so many hungry people it meant a lot to me that when we arrived on Saturday evening so many grocery staples (and extras) were waiting for us! "This villa had the most astounding views! Perched above a rocky outcrop, the sunsets every night were a delight. The expanse of the sea below was magical. The Villa was exactly as described in the listing and Giorgios and Penelope could not have been more welcoming. Their communication with us was faultless and they connected us with a wonderful man named Christos who helped us arrange activities and a chef during our stay. We would most certainly return!"

"Just back from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Our first visit to Crete and it did not disappoint. The villa is a 30 min drive from Chania airport. Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. The house is spacious with large bedrooms which are all en suite. Each room has its own balcony which boasts incredible views and the seating on these make the perfect spot for cocktails...

"the villa was clean and tidy, the layout is good with one bedroom on the ground floor. nice roof terrace. great sea views from the bedroon balcony. pool was a good size shared with 4 other villas but hardly anyone used it so like your own pool you need a car but the main town is a ten minute drive with some nice tavernas. recommended a few trips to rethymno just a 20 min drive but the old town is brilliant. definitely will use this villa again."

It had everything, very comfortable, clean and was perfect for the kids (aged 3 to 7 months old). Second, our host Mano - WHAT A HOST!!! "House was clean with breathtaking views as advertised! Was not prepared for steep hill access to villa. Took a few trips to be comfortable with the drive; recommend a SUB rental.Communication with owner and house manager was on point. Owner provided detailed directions, as per location and surrounding areas. However, still have to be careful with GPS directions as it can take you areas that are not suitable for tourist driving. We had a wonderful family trip, and would recommend Villa Cassandra!"

"Villa is lovely - spacious, nicely decorated and has all you need. The outside space is excellent and the views from inside and outside are incredible. 10 minute walk to the lake with great shops and restaurants and 10-15 minute drive to some lovely beaches. Sofia is a great host and was quick to reply to all messages from booking to the end of our stay. Really can't fault a thing and would recommend to anyone. We can't wait to retutn!"
