"Cozy log cabin with back porch for BBQing if you so choose. Automatic fireplace warmed up cabin nicely. Close to marina and boat launch. Kitchen well stocked with ample pots and pans, utensils, glass ware. Both Keurig and regular coffee maker. Didn’t realize had access to garage until last day as garage key not in noticeable location. Wi-if did not work. Insufficient hot water for multiple showers, had to wait for hot water to recover."

"To put it simply, lovely. Very restful, very clean. The hot tub had electrical problems, but that was the only negative. Perfect location. Deer passed thru in the mornings and evenings, so that was fun to watch. Overall a beautiful weekend to getaway with my Hubby."

"This is our third time at the McCall Cottage. It is always clean and comfortable with great supplies and amenities. We enjoyed our time on the deck watching the deer. Only thing we saw that needs attention was the bar stools are starting to get wobbly and needs some tightening. We will be back."

"French Creek Inn was a most pleasant stay. With the Salmon River across the road and French Creek to our side, it was relaxing and comfortable. The owners were A+ in all details, and comfort. I have been coming to the Salmon River for 35 years plus to camp. gold prospecting, hiking, hunting, river raft, jet boat and as always when leaving I need to come back. The cabin had all the necessities. very peaceful. Will hopefully re-schedule another visit to French Creek Inn in 2024 for at least 1-2...

The hot tub wasn't warm when when we arrived and didn't work until late the very last night (when I had spent considerable time problem solving the unit). "Firstly, the house itself is amazing. It is huge, well stocked, and generally in great shape. The walk to the community pool is only a half mile, and there are bike paths in the immediate vicinity. It is close to McCall attractions, but far enough to be a quiet retreat. The drawback in our experience was communication with the manager/owner was essentially non-existent. "Perfect location - close to town, but a VERY quiet neighborhood. The house had everything advertised and was a great spot for our family. We didn't use the pool/hot tub so I can't speak to that, but everything else was really good. Communication was quick and efficient (although we had no issues to fix), including check in and check out. We will definitely book again when go back to McCall."

"The online photos of the home do not do the house justice. It’s beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. It rained while here but we still took our boat out and enjoyed ourselves. We had family from England with us and they to loved it. Plenty of space for a big family. Clean grounds and home. Ps make sure to roll your car windows up. We did not one night and raccoons made there self at home 😀"
