This fabulous cottage features a bright open floor plan with sliders that open out to 2 beautiful patios looking out over Follins Pond, the headwaters of the Bass River. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a kayak out to the Nantucket Sound.

The open concept great room has beautiful views and breezes, comfy seating, a gas burning fireplace and a large flat screen TV.

There is a large master with a king size bed, gas fireplace and sitting room, a second room with a twin over full bunk and a spiral staircase leading up to a big beautiful room with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom downstairs & a full bathroom upstairs.

The kitchen has a microwave, stove and dishwasher. There is also a convenient stackable washer/dryer.

Eat outdoors on the beautiful Trex deck or relax on the lower level patio with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Relax, swim or kayak off your private floating dock!!

Pet fee is an additional $50 per stay, except for weekly stays when it is $100 per stay.

Wonderful Cottage
This was our 5th time staying at Sunset Cottage. It is a beautiful place overlooking a tidal pond. The views and sunsets are spectacular. The place is nicely decorated and well equipped. Great location!

We loved our stay at Meg's place. The house is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped, it's location is great and communication with the host was smooth. We enjoyed amazing views of the pond while having our morning coffee on the dock and while having dinners on the deck.

Had a wonderful stay at Sunset Cottage with the family. Excellent location on a nice sized pond with a beautiful view and lots of shade. The three bedrooms worked out great for everyone. Another Wonderful Stay
This is our fourth time at Sunset Cottage but the first time in the fall. The view from every window is spectacular, if you enjoy water views. The cottage is well equipped and Meg the owner is very responsive. It is very conveniently located, just 10 minutes from Mayflower beach and several nice restaurants. We will be going back for a fifth time next summer.

Beautiful, comfortable home perfect for family stays
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving stay at Sunset Cottage. The house was beautifully decorated with great, peaceful views of Follins Pond. The huge windows let in so much light. Meg was extremely responsive, even checking in by email on Thanksgiving Day to make sure we'd settled in. Highly recommended.

Lovely peaceful house.
Sunset Cottage served us very well over the Christmas holiday. The house is cozy, comfortable and accurate to the photos. We were able to take advantage of a well appointed kitchen to cook Christmas dinner and enjoy the peace and quiet of the the area. Meg is very friendly and communicative. Second Stay at This Very Special Place
Cold winds and rain during our annual birding getaway made coming home to the cozy fire, comfortable open spaces, tasteful coastal decor, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower with excellent water pressure, and gorgeous views over Follins Pond even more enticing. The weather didn't really permit much lounging outdoors on the decks and dock as we have enjoyed in the past, but we did manage to sneak in a little firepit time--so warming and restorative. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to everything and our host is a delight and could not be more responsive. We're so happy to have found this slice of heaven and are already looking forward to Visit #3 next April.

What an amazing time our family had at Meg’s spectacular oasis on Follins Pond. The best of what the Cape has to offer wrapped up in an outstanding property with all the best conveniences including central air and great WiFi! The location with a floating dock on such a picturesque expanse of water was absolutely mesmerizing. The fire pit and outdoor table were a delightful bonus. The beds were beyond comfortable and everyone felt supremely rested. We LOVED every second of our stay. Meg was a fantastic host and our vacation was truly enhanced by staying at the sunset cottage. Sunset Cottage
We were very lucky that the weather in November was spectacular for our three nights at Sunset Cottage. The house was sunlit, clean, airy and magical. The king bed on the first floor has an amazing mattress that hugs you through the night and is topped by a wonderful comforter. We had the best three nights sleep. Full cabinets of all the dishes and pans you would need and thick soft bath towels. We enjoyed the area and took walks and drives to nearby beaches. We watched a beautiful sunset our first night and didn't have to leave the house to see it! Thank you, Meg, for our memorable stay.
