"This property ticked off all of our boxes for a great vacation!! We were at this rental for one month and never tired of the great views. There were numerous birds during our stay, and one day we had around a dozen monkeys visit us and came feed in the trees which were very close to the casa. Were able to get a lot of good photos. Also enjoyed watching the divers snorkeling in Paradise Bay for lobster or sometimes they were fishing. There are great steps (100 or so) down to the shoreline below where we explored numerous times during our stay. My husband also snorkeled and seen quite a few fish. He also fished a few times but didn’t have a lot of luck. Think he was using the wrong bait, as we seen locals catching crabs and using those for bait. They seemed to catch fish with those. During low tide we were able to hike around into the next bay and then go through a land path back to our bay. We found the rocks and rock structures to be absolutely beautiful. Make sure you pack good sturdy water shoes for hiking below on the rocks. We were also seeing the whales going by during our stay and one day had two of them fairly close to Gorilla Head rock. Also enjoyed watching the pelicans and hawks circling for fish below in the bay. San Juan del Sur has lots of choices for restaurants and we enjoyed some good meals. This is a very good location for an excellent vacation and we wish to thank Dan and Donna for the opportunity to visit their property!!"

"A bit of maintenance should be done. The BBQ pit area is kinda run down, over grown, dim and terrifying to the ladies after dark. Shower heads in house are plugged, so very little excruciating hot water dribbles out. Hedges and flower beds need some love they are overgrown, outdoor shower doesn't work, kitchen utensils are tired, toaster only works 1/2, coffee pot takes an hr to make coffee, knives were so dull they wouldn't cut fruit, I bought a stone and sharpened them. The pool is excellent, the house is amazing, the cabins are amazing, it really just needs a few days love and touch up, some paint, pressure washer, 100 in new solar lights, and 75 in kitchen equipment, and this place is amazing. We really enjoyed the monkeys, and peace and quiet. The views of the sunset are as good as I've ever seen. I will book this place again if available. The housekeeping family that lives next door are so kind, helpful and patient with my zero Spanish. 9/10 as far as I'm concerned."

"Beautiful property. The scenery was beautiful the staff was friendly. I enjoyed everything about it. Wish I could have stayed longer. Do remember it is surrounded by trees so expect a critter here and there . My lucky guest was a spider. Drinks could be a little stronger but you can always buy yourself a bottle before exiting the airport. "

"Attended a friends wedding and I didn't want to drive home. Needed a dog friendly hotel. This is the best in town! Comfy bed, great location and dog loves the balcony and dog watching lol Awesome breakfast included. (Which they completely accommodated my egg allergy subbing them out for fruit, no problem)."
