"The property in itself was average (rooms/bathrooms etc). There was an overwhelming smell of food, I wish they provide some ventilation to remove odor. BUT, the service was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful. And the freebies were extraordinary compared to other hotels in the area. We got a ticket for one free drink in the evening. There was free coffee and fresh baked bread and fresh soup for evening snack. The breakfast in the morning was also made from scratch (and not recooked frozen food or food made from mixes). Pancakes were fresh and so was everything (roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, sausage). Omlettes were being made-to-order. And there was free parking (which does not seem to be the norm in PDX). All in all, this was a great stay. Would highly recommend."

"The Holiday Inn at Portland is a gem! Their Hotel is super clean, beds are so comfortable, they have a restaurant and pool onsite and have snacks and quick meals and travel size items for sale. They also have a coffee bar inside. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport as well as offering long term parking for a small daily fee. I always stay here when traveling. They have incredible customer service!! "

"I like the Hyatt because it's very near PDX and walking distance to the Cascade Station MAX stop to get downtown. We arrived at PDX very late and the shuttle came promptly after I called. Check-in was fast, our room was spacious and clean, beds comfortable. We didn't use any of the facilities. Since we arrived so late, we slept in and missed the breakfast so I cannot comment on that. But there is an IHOP next door and several other food places in walking distance for easy meals."

"Smooth and quick check in. The bed was really comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner smelled good and felt great on my hair. And of course breakfast did not disappoint. "
