"The check in was fabulous and we had a lovely room (Room 1) that actually has a kettle! We had a terrace with views of Xativa Castle and also the town and valley, all framed by pine and cypress trees. Deb had injured her knee so was able to sit on the terrace, read her book and chill as we watched the sunset. We had breakfast both mornings at the hotel and the breakfast was fabulous and we ate far too much delicious food. After breakfast I had a wander around the grounds. The views really were spectacular, especially with the early morning mist, and you could see sections of the town walls stretching from the valley up to the castle. We ate one dinner in the hotel as Deb had already perused the menu, although I was somewhat sceptical. There were weird things like sea urchin, pig's ear, lamb gizzards and duck liver but I opted for sea bass and Deb had rabbit lasagna. The food was just magnificent. Right from the bread and olive oil, with the type of oil and its characteristics being explained to the main course and desserts there was nothing I could improve upon. I had two desserts - a cheesecake and a hazelnut mousse and both were fabulous. We left feeling full but not bloated, a lovely way to round off Deb's birthday. "Spacious airy accommodation with lovely views and location next to outdoor sports area and park. Occasional sounds of happy activity and otherwise very peaceful. Recommendable. "

"Clean and quiet. A real gem right next to a working lighthouse. The view of the water was fantastic. March is off season so it was quiet and not crowded not sure how crowded it would be in the summer season. Restaurants are within walking distance. A car would help w groceries for sticking the fridge. I would stay here again."

"Lovely property. The room was clen and had everything we needed. The area is quiet and lovely to walk around. It is hard to park nearby but you can park closer to the centre of the town. The shared kitchen is very nice and well equipped and the shared bathroom as well. Very nice find and will most come back."

"The hostess had great communication, was responsive and offered recommendations for local attractions. It was a lovely location and I’m sure the area would be much more lively during the summer, we went off-season and it was quite cold but still a beautiful view! Easy to take the bus into Valencia as well."
