"It is very functional and it was clean and tidy but there is barley enough room to walk round the bed or turnaround in the bathroom On the plus side the receptionist was lovely and breakfast was good It’s very easy to get to the supermarket where there were places to eat "

"We had such a wonderful relaxing time here, that we cannot recommend it enough. The pictures really don't do the glorious location justice and it is much better in real life. The accommodation was clean and easy to care for. It has everything you would need and there is a supermarket just across the road for supplies, which we found very useful. It was an excellent point to start from for exploring the area and we found Marans, La Rochelle and the local water park of O'Gliss all very enjoyable day trips. When you are not exploring the local area it is a very relaxing place to just chill out and enjoy the pool or a walk along the fields and canals nearby. We saw hares, hoopoes and egrets to name a few. The sunsets are amazing. It was by far the best and most relaxing holiday we have ever had. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and kind and accommodating. They respected our privacy and we respected theirs, but they were also there to help with anything and also to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back! We can't recommend this holiday home / gite enough! "

"We had a wonderful week at this beautiful gite. Brigitte and Lionel were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The gite itself and grounds are beautifully maintained - we felt super relaxed when we left having spent the week swimming, lying in hammocks and exploring the nature in the garden. "Great location & parking. Rooms are clean spacious and quiet. Wifi good. Breakfast is good, evening food is limited but there are loads of restaurants nearby. The hotel is pricey, but still cheap compared to Parisien or coastal prices. "
