"We loved our stay in this charming modern property. The list of positives; room had AC as it was hot during our stay. Appreciated the daily small bottles of complimentary water! Shopping in delicious dinning were walking distance as well as the Sancucci park and castles. Public transportation was at the corner. The room was non smoking. The bed was comfortable. "I was disappointed that the air conditioning wasn’t working and spent my stay sweating instead of relaxing. It is not fair for the amount of money I paid to not have AC in a super hot room. House keeping didn’t even change the towels or gave shampoo or soap. They went in fixed the bed and left "

"The Hotel is relatively difficult to access using public transport - the nearest bus stop is "Freiheitsweg", some 15 mins walk from the Hotel. That aside, and now knowing how best to access the hotel using PT, I would highly recommend the facility, given its excellent credentials for which I have given an appropriate rating."

"The hotel is located up in the hill near the palace. Many things in Potsdam city is located far from the central station, and this hotel was the same. So we took a taxi to get there, but we figured how to get around with public transportation next day and it was easy. Beautiful hotel, and have everything you need, breakfast had so many choices and very fresh! "

"Check-in and the reception service were fine. The breakfast in the morning was great. The room, however, reeked of smoke and was really dated. I’m not sure how they justify €200 per night. The location is lovely and great for a restful break. We stopped off for a day off on a trip around Germany as we knew it would be hot. "Uns hat das Ferienhaus sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren mit unseren Kindern in dem Ferienhaus und waren überrascht wie groß es ist. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Vermieterin hat immer sehr schnell reagiert, wenn es Fragen gab. Zum See ist man in 5 min hingelaufen, der Badestrand war nie überfüllt und man konnte sie gut erholen. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es genügend Fahrradwege zum Fahrrad fahren. "

Modern cabin on lake

"Tim’s cabin is modern, clean, and well equipped. I stayed 7 nights while participating in a rowing regatta at Brandenburg an der Havel. As I was not at the cabin during the day, I did not take advantage of the lake access or the small boat that was available. "

Peaceful, quiet location

"Really nice property, well kept and clean throughout. Location is really peaceful, quite some way from any towns or villages. Good communications from hosts and easy to access on arrival. The log burner was a lovely touch too. It's not clear on the listing that the property is upstairs - not a problem for us but would be for anyone with mobility issues. There's no wifi (making it great for a get away from it all stay!) and no microwave. A guide to the location would have been useful, to show where the wood store/bike shed was (we found it OK though) and how the heating worked."
