If you need to escape your hectic life, then book now and “Keep Palm and Carry On”! This beautiful family-oriented duplex is just what you are looking for. Located near Johnnie Mercer’s pier, the central location of this home is just steps from local restaurants, bars, the loop, and of course- the beach! Enjoy hours of people watching from the deck that overlooks the heart of Wrightsville Beach and all the action.

As you enter the foyer you are led up a flight of stairs to the main living area. Beautiful wood floors span the great room. The open and airy floor plan creates a wonderful family atmosphere and creates a space that everyone can share. A spacious horseshoe kitchen complete with a large farmhouse sink, updated appliances, and granite countertops will surely please the family chef. The kitchen peninsula offers additional seating and overlooks the living area so you can keep an eye on the little ones, and you prepare meals. There is an additional dining table so that family meals can be enjoyed together. The living room is a great place to host family game night or relax with your favorite show. Larger families will appreciate that the sofa can be converted into a queen-size bed. Pull up a chair on the deck and watch all the action – joggers, cyclists, motorists and more! Hours of people watching make it entertaining to kick back with your favorite ice-cold beverage.

Just off the kitchen is a queen-sized guest bedroom. There is an adjoining bathroom that is shared with the main hall so that this bathroom can conveniently service visitors or the guest bedroom. Past the living room is another staircase that leads to the second living level. The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed, private ensuite bathroom, and its very own deck with partial sound views. There is a full washer and dryer in the hallway for maximum convenience. At the end of the hall is the third queen guest bedroom with attached bathroom.

The outdoor space at “Keep Palm & Carry On” is really something to write home about! A back patio is a great spot for the family to hang out in the evenings. Complete with outdoor shower, small grassy area, charcoal grill with a gas igniter, and ping pong table – this is the place to be! The garage houses the ping pong table and can be used for parking additional vehicles. Additional parking for 2-3 vehicles is a rare Wrightsville Beach find. Don’t let this amazing rental pass you by!

This was a disaster!
It started with just annoying. We weren’t able to access the garage because the remote garage door opener didn’t work. That’s where all the beach stuff is kept. The first person said we don’t leave remotes even after I sent a picture of the remote. The person who showed up and the maintenance guy said they’ve had trouble with the remote in the past. So why not leave a key?! The ceiling fan in a bedroom doesn’t work, the grill looks like it’s never been cleaned, the filter in the frig needs replacing, and the shower head outdoors was cracked and spraying all over (it was taped with electrical tape). Then it went to worse. The kitchen faucet broke under the sink and flooded the kitchen. While we were dealing with that, my 10 year old granddaughter went down to the outside shower to rinse off. The latch wouldn’t open and she got stuck in there for an hour. She couldn’t get out from underneath or over the top. Finally a neighbor found a hammer and she was able to beat the lock open. Meanwhile no one picked up the after hours number or answered my increasingly frantic text messages. The next morning 2 people showed up about half an hour apart to fix the sink (not anything else that they knew of). Neither of them knew about each other nor did the person supposedly from the maintenance department that I was put through to when I called. When we left, most of it was still not fixed. DON’T STAY HERE!
