Oceanfront historic gem on great block

If you are looking for an authentic Wrightsville Beach experience, this is your place! Our family has owned this 1890 single family house since the 1940's. It still feels like an old fashioned cottage but has been updated to add WIFI and to provide year round comfort with central cooling and heating. We have four bedrooms and three baths plus a pullout sofa in one of the two living rooms. This place oozes with charm. Just sitting out on one of the two porches will bring you an amazing sense of serenity. We have generally rented only to friends but decided to expand to VRBO to let more people get a feel of old Wrightsville Beach with modern comforts. Our cottage is very close to the Blockade Runner so water sports rentals are super easy. You can walk to the center of town and visit the Trolley Stop for a hot dog or Kohls for an ice cream cone or the Workshop for coffee. Go another block and buy your groceries at Robert's. Just thinking of those special places makes me smile. Wrightsville Beach is a special place and staying in our family's cottage will make your Wrightsville Beach experience even more incredible. Wrightsville historical home
This vacation home was perfect for our family of five with room to spare. We loved the character of this older historic home and the location was absolutely perfect. It was just a few steps to the beach and we could easily walk to the shops, restaurants or Robert’s grocery. We really enjoyed our time there!

Summer Vacation 2024
My family and I had a wonderful stay and hope to stay again next summer! The location of the home is amazing, the porch was great, and there was ample room for all of us! The check-in process was easy and Mary was very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental home!
