"I liked the area, I liked the hotel , the staff and where it is situated. However, one thing rather annoyed me and it’s so simple to overcome There is One very small glass shelf in the bathroom of number 16 which held our tooth mugs only We had to put our toilet bags and my make up bag on the floor whilst using them. Rather spoilt our break in Mode. Thank you. "

"The customer service at this hotel was perfect, Great character in the hotel , our host was very friendly and told us everything we needed to know, the room was great and very clean and nicely decorated. I had a great night sleep. Thank you for the great stay!"

"The staff was excellent. We loved all the Liverpool memorabilia & that the staff would let us hold the trophy, framed signed shirts etc. for photographs. We also loved that it was close to Liverpool FC's stadium."

"This is exactly the sort of hotel we need to find more often. Small hotel with efficient friendly staff, very clean rooms. Prettily decorated with a really good dining menu. Good value for money. Will stay again and highly reccomend."

"Clean sheets & comfy bed. Reasonable price but a bit far out from the city centre, however regular buses only cost £2.00."

"It was very pleasant stay. Clean and tidy. Very quiet other than Saturday night with people banging the doors after 10pm. "

"Had another great stay here. Came to watch Liverpool vs Man City and love how close to Anfield this is. I have stayed here everytime I come to Liverpool to watch football and I will continue coming here for every game I come and see. "

"Liverpool was buzzing. So much going on. The Christmas Market over the road from the train station was so good. The hotel was so local to the venue i was going to. I hope to go back "

"Took the double bed option. Smallish room with a sink. Very clean and well presented. Toilets and bathrooms very handy across the hall. Good cooked breakfast. Handy car park out the front. For a cheap overnight stay to put me up after a night out with the boys in Preston i couldn't really fault it. "

"It was good. Room was dusty and mattress cover didn’t fit properly but other than that it was clean. Room position was noisy due to workmen on roof opposite. Also constant noise of bottles being emptied into bin through the night kept us awake. Lifts were slow and one was out of order for most of our stay. Location was great and close to everything. Central for liver building, pier head, Albert dock and Liverpool one shopping centre. It wasn’t clear which car park belonged to the hotel. Ended up...
