"We booked for a one night stay, as we were attending our Aunts 80th Birthday party and had to travel a distance. Our evening meal was acceptable as traditional pub grub and the service/staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was FAB, we had a full English and couldn't fault. Our room was in the main building and an 'old' room as we had to duck down when entering BUT there was a sign to watch your head AND the room was excellent, very clean and all the makings for tea/coffee and biscuits. All round, a good experience."

"My partner and I had the most incredible weekend at The Peacock Pod, and we honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home. The pod was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a warm, inviting feel to it.The space is so cosy and secure, with a fenced-in area that gives you complete privacy and a real sense of peace. Every little detail has been thought of to make it as comfortable as possible, and it truly felt like a little retreat from the outside world. A really thoughtful touch was that on arrival, there was bread, butter, and milk in the fridge, which made us feel so welcome and was perfect for settling in.One of the biggest highlights for us was the hot tub—it was simply perfect! Whether we were soaking in it during the day or in the evening, it made the whole experience feel extra special. It was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.A huge thank you to Louise, who was so lovely, kind, and welcoming. Her communication was fantastic from start to finish, making everything so easy and stress-free. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests, and that warmth really made our stay even more special.We had the most wonderful time and made memories we’ll cherish forever. I will definitely be returning again, and I highly recommend The Peacock Pod to anyone looking for the perfect peaceful escape!Thank you! "

"Our stay was amazing we took the grandchildren as we went to Reindeer lodge on the Saturday. The hostess left everything you might need and the horse came across to see us every day which the girls loved. There was only one fault which didn't affect our stay one of the keys to the french window didnt work and i forgot to let them know as it wasnt a problem because we just used the front door .We would definitely come back here again. "
